Brigitte A Holder, MD is both an internist and dermatologist.

After receiving her medical degree from Downstate Medical School, she went on to pursue her internal medicine training at Brown University-Miriam hospital in Providence, Rhode Island. During the residency she did a tropical medicine elective in Uganda, Africa, a step which was instrumental in her decision to pursue a career in dermatology. After completing a post-doctoral fellowship in the therapeutics of psoriasis at Rockefeller University, she went on to complete her residency in dermatology at SUNY Health Science Center of Brooklyn- Downstate Medical Center in 2004.

Currently she works solely as a dermatologist at her private practice in Park Slope, Brooklyn. She has lived in Park Slope since the age of five and adores the neighborhood. With her background in internal medicine, she is fascinated by medical dermatology as well as having a passion for cosmetic dermatology.
